Locum GPs
From time to time patients may be offered a consultation with a locum GP. Locum GPs are fully qualified GPs and therefore have the same training and qualifications as our salaried GPs.

Nurses
Our nurses offer childhood immunisations, vaccinations, wound care, post operative care, ear care, injections and cervical smears. Our nurses also offer support in helping patients to manage long term respiratory and diabetic health conditions.
We also have support from Locum Nurses who help the surgery with all aspects of Nursing Care.

Community Nurses
The community/district nursing team is based in St Leonards.
Health Visitors
A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
The Health Visiting Team is based in Verwood.
