Rushmoor House

West Moors Group Practice regret to inform patients that Rushmore House, 67 – 71 Church Road, Three Legged Cross will be closing on the 27th December 2019.

This is a result of our lease ending, and us not being able to agree a purchase price with the landlord, which is very disappointing and has resulted in this difficult decision.

We recognise that this news may cause concerns amongst some people, but we can assure you that we will do all that we can to make the transition as smooth as possible. Please be assured that as a registered patient you will still have access to the services the practice provides at West Moors Group Practice, at our main site, Heathlands House, 175 Station Road, West Moors, BH22 0HX, where you can continue to see the same clinical staff who have looked after you at Rushmoor House. Home visits will continue to be made to patients in need.

Your registration will not be affected, and you do not have to take any action if you are happy to access GP Services from Heathlands House. However, you can choose to register with any practice in your area.  You can find your closest GP Practice by visiting Find a GP on the NHS website Our site in West Moors may well still be closer than another neighbouring practice. We hope you will choose to stay with us.

We will be holding a patient engagement event on Tuesday 22nd October at Rushmoor House Surgery from 10.00am until 12.00pm where you can come along and speak with members of staff and Dorset NHS Clinical Commissioning Group.

We understand that you may have questions regarding the changes, please click here to see a list of frequently asked questions.

If you have further questions, please telephone the practice on 01202 811860 or 01202 865800 and the most appropriate person will be happy to speak with you.
